私たち夫婦にとって、とても悲しいニュースが飛び込んできました。
2019年2月20日、我が愛猫モアナが息をひきとりました。
死因はガンです。
モアナがガンだと宣告されたのは、昨年10月末でした。
その時、余命2〜3週間と思われていましたが、クリスマス、大晦日、お正月、節分、そしてバレンタインデーをも家族一緒に過ごすことが出来て、モアナは計4ヶ月近くがんばってくれました。
実はモアナの正確な誕生日がわかりません。
ボランティアの方に拾われ、獣医さんに推定2歳と言われ、我が家にやってきたのが2008年4月10日。
10年と10ヶ月、私たち夫婦にとっては短く感じる時間でしたが、モアナはその間、本当にたくさんの愛と幸せを私たちに届けてくれました。
モアナちゃん、今はゆっくり休んでね。
そしていつかまたゼッタイに会おうね。
Tragic news for us.
Our cat, Moana has passed away on the 20th this month.
It was the end of last October, when my husband and I were told by the vet, that Moana had cancer and that she might not live longer than 3 weeks.
BUT Moana was tough!
She has spent Christmas with us, New Years Eve with us and celebrated St. Valentine’s Day with us fighting against cancer for almost 4 months!
She’s always been a strong girl and a real angel!
We know the date she left us, but we do not know her birthday.
We adopted Moana on the 10th of April 2008 from a cat rescue volunteer group.(According to the vet, she might have been about two years of age at that time.)
Since then, Moana has given us unconditional love, happiness and much much more.
We were so lucky to have her!
Thank you Moana! Danke Moana! Arigato Moana-chan!
We miss you so much!!!
